- In the Windows app or the web app, open Settings and go to Templates.
- Give it a name, write the text and, if you like, a subject.
- Save it. Templates you make in the web app also appear on your phone.
Use a template
- Windows and web: in the composer, open the templates menu and pick one.
- Phone: tap the template button at the top of the composer and pick one.
The template’s text goes after what you already typed. Its subject is used only when the subject is still empty, so it never replaces one you wrote.
Questions
Can I make or change templates on my phone?
Not yet. Make and change them in the Windows app or the web app; your phone uses them.
Can a template belong to one account?
Yes. A template made for one account is offered only when you write from that account.
